Unfortunately, it is not possible to cancel your exam after registration or to postpone it to another day. The registered exam is booked for you bindingly with the specified day and level. You can find more information about this in our Terms and Conditions.
Even in the case of illness, it is unfortunately not possible to cancel or postpone your exam. It is still the case that the booked exam is booked for you bindingly. You can also find this regulation in our Terms and Conditions.
Well, definitely! In fact, our exam days are generally planned so that you take both parts of the exam on the same day. This way you don't have to take two days off or travel from outside Munich twice. We ask you to keep the whole day free until the evening and not to make any other appointments. It may happen that you have a longer break between the written and the oral exam.
This is also possible. Please note, however, that in this case you must register for two different partial exams. It is not possible to split a single registration over two days. Please bring your participant number from the last exam you took with you in order to combine partial results.
Yes, you can! The partial result of an exam is valid for 12 months. The date of issue of the score sheet is the starting date for the 12 months of validity. This means that if your score sheet was issued on 01 September 2021, the result is valid until 31 August 2022. While it is valid, you can have your result recognised by telc and combine it with the result of a later exam. Let’s say you only passed the oral part of your exam – next time you can register just for the written part of the exam then combine the two results and vice versa. Important: In order for your results to be recognised, we will need a copy of the last exam result. If the copy is not submitted, there may be a delay in the crediting of the result.
It is! You get this package with us at a price that you would pay elsewhere only for the exam - a real bargain!
To ensure that your exam day runs as smoothly as possible, we plan each exam day individually. Therefore, about a week before your exam date, you will receive an email from us stating the time you need to be at the exam center - i.e. speakeasy. An exam day usually starts around 8 am. Depending on the level you have booked, there may be a longer break between your written and oral exam. Therefore, please keep the whole day free.
It is best if you leave your mobile phone at home. If you do bring it, you may not take it into your exam room under any circumstances: It must be locked up during the entire written exam and the oral exam. Using your mobile phone or any other device (even during the break in the C1 exams) is strictly forbidden! Please handle all calls and messages before your exam.
There are a few things that you must bring:
In order to make the exam day as smooth as possible for all participants, it is unfortunately not possible to make individual adjustments. Please keep the entire exam day free to avoid scheduling conflicts.
About a week before your exam, we will send you an email with everything you need to know about your exam day. Please make sure that you are there on time! If you arrive late, we will not allow you to take the exam. As soon as you arrive, please report to the front desk for check-in, where we will need your official photo ID. At the front desk we will give you further information, including in which room your exam will take place. At the end of the written exam, we will let you know the time of your oral exam: We will give you a check-in time for the waiting area. From there we will take you to the preparation room for the oral exam, where you can familiarise yourself with the tasks (applies to level B1 and above) and then we will take you to the exam room for the oral exam.
Not long at all. The correction time for telc exams is up to six weeks. You can track the progress of your exam via our practical exam status, so you are always up to date (practical exam status). Unfortunately, we have no influence on the processing time at telc, so we have to wait for your results just like you. However, as soon as we receive them, we will scan them and send them directly to you by email! You can then pick up the original from us.
Unfortunately, since 2021 there is no longer an option for any examination centre in Germany to request faster correction. telc no longer offers this service. Unfortunately, we cannot influence the duration of the correction process.
You will receive a scan of your result by email. You can also check out your result in the speakeasy portal or the speakeasy app. To get your original result, you can either come to our exam center in person (with your ID) or we can send it to you by post for a separate fee.
No. Your results themselves are valid indefinitely. However, there is one exception: the validity of partial results. Partial results are valid for one year! For example, if you passed your written exam on 21/03/2021, but not the oral exam, you have until 20/03/2022 to have the result of the written exam from 21/03/2021 credited to a new partial exam for the oral part of the exam. Your score from 21/03/2021 will remain valid after 20/03/2022, but you will not be able to use it for partial credit.
